Atticus

I've talked about identifying with a character, but sometimes I find myself falling a little bit in love with the heroes of movies and books. Most recently it was Prince Albert and last year it was Burt Farlander (John Krasinski) from Away We Go. But my all time on-screen crush is Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch. I thought the To Kill a Mockingbird character was such a great dad when I read the book but Peck filled the role so well in the 1962 film adaptation. I'm positive I'm not the only woman who swooned over him.

Too funny. I find humor to be the sexiest trait ever, so it's no surprise that the men I'm most attracted to at this table are Jimmy Kimmel and John Krazinski (who is painfully adorable here).

I miss Scrubs. I used to have such a crush on Zach Braff.

I don't really have a fashion icon (I like to think my style is all my own) but if I did, Anna Karina would be my muse.

The Beautiful Person

This weekend I saw Christopher Honoré's latest film, La Belle Personne, about a quiet and disturbed, new student who finds herself the object of every boy (and man) in the school's desire. I wasn't overall thrilled but I did develop a new girl crush on the lead actress, Léa Seydoux, who definitely lives up to the film's title.




I hope to see more of her on the big screen.

I'm Just Sitting On the Shelf

I have a serious girl crush on Zooey Deschanel. Have you seen her in the new Cotton ads? She has a great, quirky style and I think Autumn de Wilde really captures that aspect of her in these shots.
