I just love looking at pictures of an older Gabriel "Coco" Chanel. No one ages gracefully these days so it's really inspiring to see a matured woman with such a distinct style and palpable character.

I usually hate tweed but my heart skipped more than one beat when I saw this Chanel Couture SS/10 video. I am swooning over every detail (including the heart-shaped hair).

Bette Davis said "Old age is no place for sissies". Me, I can't wait to get old. Sure it comes with achy joints and a lifetime of felt emotions but all that in exchange for wisdom and a well lived life, a sense of security and establishment. Sure I'm romanticizing the process but I tend to do that...
Also I hope that I'm half as fabulous as these women.
